Ivette M. Diaz, D.D.S.

Doctor Ivette Diaz is a special kind of dentist. With her unique charm, she gets children excited about their dental care, helping them to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

While earning her doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Dr. Diaz learned that she had a special connection with her young patients. A fluent speaker of Spanish, she then took a rare opportunity to earn a Post-doctoral Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. After finishing her advanced studies, she returned to Texas, becoming certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Her continuing advanced studies in pediatric dentistry, especially in the areas of child behavior management and sedation dentistry, enable Dr. Diaz to provide comprehensive children's dental care. But most importantly, she takes the time to get to know each child personally, communicating with parents and children to create a lifetime of great smiles.

Dr. Diaz and her husband, Dr. Manuel Diaz, an oral maxillofacial surgeon, reside in Pearland with their two sons, Manuel and Gabriel.

Angela M. Lopez, D.D.S.

Born and raised in the west Texas city El Paso, Dr. Lopez, a General Dentist, is excited to now call Houston her home. She is a 2006 honors graduate of St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas where she received her Bachelor's of Science in biology. While completing her DDS degree at the University of Texas Health Science center Dr. Lopez discovered her interest for treating our young ones and took many opportunities to extend her training with children through various courses and externships that have enhanced her practice and skills with children.

Dr. Lopez enjoys having fun with the children, engaging them while providing comprehensive dental care. She enjoys working together with parents to ensure each child will receive the care they need both in the chair and at home.

Monica Livesay, R.D.H.

Monica graduated from Wharton County Junior College with her Dental Hygiene degree in 2006. She has had the oppurtunity to explore all areas in the dental field and found her love in Pediatric Dentistry and working with kids. She enjoys educating parents and their children on proper hygiene techniques and the importance of thier overall oral health.

Monica has been with ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry for over 2 years and is proud to call it her home away from home. She resides is Friendswood with her husband Jared and her two children Brooke and Caleb.

Brendolyn Miller, R.D.A.

This Georgia native serves in the United States Air Force Reserves. She relocated to Houston from Germany in 2010. In Germany she discovered her love for Pediatric Dentistry while being assigned to Ramstein Air Base.

She enjoys photography, decorating, and not to mention spending time with her family. She currently attends San Jacinto College and plans to apply for dental hygiene school in 2012.

She and her husband, Chad, along with their two adorable kids Kyly & MJ reside in Pearland, Texas. She has been a team member since August 2010.

Melissa Labadie, R.D.A.

Melissa is a Michigan native, born and raised in the Detroit area. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends. Melissa has resided in Pearland for 3 years with her husband Michael and her two beautiful daughters Haley and Brooklyn.

She joined our team in September 2010 and she excels at assisting Dr. Diaz and Dr. Lopez during dental procedures. It warms her heart to provide the children with a pleasant experience. Melissa takes the time to make them feel comfortable and encourages them throughout the entire procedure.

She takes full advantage of continuing education offered by the office and was one of the team member to go to the Annual AAPD meeting with the office in New York City, May 2011.

Suleyma Garica, R.D.A.

Suleyma is a proud Texan, born and raise right here in Houston. She graduated from James Madison High School in May 2008. She decided to become a dental assistant per her sister's advice and went on to further her education at The Academy of Health Care, where she graduated in 2009.

Suleyma has always enjoyed working with children whether it was babysitting when she was younger or spending time with her niece. Hence, when it came time to apply her education, she naturally chose pediatric dentistry.

When she is not at work, Suleyma spends her free time with her family and friends. Her interests are reading, dancing, and partaking in community service.
