Ivette M. Diaz, D.D.S.

Doctor Ivette Diaz is a special kind of dentist. With her unique charm, she gets children excited about their dental care, helping them to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

While earning her doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Dr. Diaz learned that she had a special connection with her young patients. A fluent speaker of Spanish, she then took a rare opportunity to earn a Post-doctoral Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. After finishing her advanced studies, she returned to Texas, becoming certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Her continuing advanced studies in pediatric dentistry, especially in the areas of child behavior management and sedation dentistry, enable Dr. Diaz to provide comprehensive children’s dental care. But most importantly, she takes the time to get to know each child personally, communicating with parents and children to create a lifetime of great smiles.

Dr. Diaz and her husband, Dr. Manuel Diaz, an oral maxillofacial surgeon, reside in Pearland with their two sons, Manuel and Gabriel.

It is with heavy heart that I tell you that I will be leaving ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry effective April 12th, 2017. For the past three years, it has truly been an honor taking care of your beautiful children and watching them grow. Thank you for your friendship and for putting your trust in me as your dentist. It has meant more to me than you know, and I will truly miss you. I know that you will be in good hands continuing dental care for your children with Dr. Diaz and the wonderful staff at ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry. I wish you all the very best always.

Yahaira Lopez, Office Manager

Yahaira is proud to call ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry her first and only job upon graduating from South Houston High School in 2009. While she was in school, Yahaira was very active in extra-curricular activities where she was the Vice President of the National Honor Society and the Student Council. She played on the Varsity Women’s Tennis Team and graduated ranked #12 in her class. Now she brings all her energy, flare, and passion to our office where she shows everyday just how well-rounded and thoughtful she is.

Yahaira loves to help others and is very involved in the ministries of her church. When she is not at work, she sings in the praise and worship team at her church and spends time with her husband. She has volunteered as a teacher for sunday school and various vocational summer programs. Yahaira has been enjoying her married life since July 2011. Her husband also lends his time and talent by playing bass guitar in the praise and worship team.

Currently, Yahaira is working on her accounting degree at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and enjoys to apply what she learns in school at work.

As a native Houstonian, Yahaira has always enjoyed shopping, reading, and playing tennis. While enjoying the town she has discovered her love for Sushi, DIY projects, and baking.


Valeria Jones, R.D.H

Born and raised Texan, Valeria graduated for Del Mar College in May 2005 with her AAS in Dental Hygiene. She then finished her Bachelor of Science in Dental Education from East Tennessee State University December 2006. She began her career in General Dentistry and recently joined ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry in July 2014.

Valeria enjoys interacting with children in an exciting environment as she provides dental health, and patient home care instructions with a fun twist.

Valeria is a devoted wife and mother with one son named Braden, and expecting a second son to her family in April 2015. In her free time she enjoys quality family time; attending sporting events with her husband Robert, watching comedy movies and traveling.

She looks forward to meeting you and brightening your day as well as your child’s smile.


Nelly Perez, R.D.A.

She is a zany Cuban native that believes passion is the key to life! Passion in her faith is what brought her to the United States in 2000. While Spanish is her first language, she is also fluent in English and is proud to call herself a Cuban American.

She found her vocation in the field of dentistry in 2005. She graduated from Pinnacle Career Center with her dental assisting license in 2006. She is pleased to say that she has been a part of the ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry Family since July 2008. She finds it rewarding and uplifting to work with children in a dental environment. In addition to working in the office, she also assist Dr. Diaz at Texas Children’s Hospital.

She is blessed to spend her free time with her excellent husband, Ranier; her angels, Ranier, Sandra, and Heylin; and her wonderful mother, who recently arrived from Cuba, Elena. They enjoy sporting events, family nights at the kids’ school, going to church, and attending Biblical programs.

She would love for you to come and visit her with the most important people in your life, so that she can shower you with her love and enthusiasm!


Sahari Flores, R.D.A

Sarahi Flores is best known for her charisma, creativity and bubbly personality with our patients. Her friendly face helps put patients at ease when in our office.

After graduating from Pearland High School in 2009, she began her career as a dental assistant at Texas School of Business. Upon graduation from Texas School of Business in 2012, Sarahi joined the ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry team. Sarahi has acquired various certifications during her career with us, including Nitrous Certification and credentials at Texas Childrens Hospital. She has been assisting Dr. Diaz with hospital cases for over two years and is now Dr. Appareddy’s treatment assistant.

In her spare time, Sarahi enjoys the outdoors, watching Korean soap operas and choreographing quinceanera dances. She is also a catechist teacher for first graders. While she enjoys all of the above activities equally, her true passion is arts and crafts. Sarahi loves to use her creativity to brainstorm new projects. When she is not crafting her next project, Sarahi enjoys spending time with her very large family.


Leslie Stowe, R.D.A.

Leslie is a compassionate Texan girl whose attention to detail makes the patient’s feel at ease.

In 2010, Leslie graduated from Manvel High School. Following her high school graduation, she decided to enroll full time in the dental assisting program at Alvin Community College. Upon receiving her license, she was delighted to join the family of ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry. Her dedication to sharing her time and energy resonates to all of the patients that come into our office.

When Leslie is not at work, she enjoys scrap booking, crafts and party planning. She also loves to spend time with her fiancee and her four year old son, Emanuel. Leslie also has a soft heart for stray dogs. Currently, Leslie has welcomed to her family two dogs, Bella and newly rescued Minnie.


Victoria Oliver, R.D.A

Victoria is delighted to be apart of the team at ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry where her career in the dental field began. Victoria graduated from Manvel High School in 2011. In 2012 she attained a license as a dental assistant from Alvin Community College.

Victoria was born and raised in Texas and resides in Alvin. She is a Houston Texans fan. From her Texan earrings to the bedazzled Texan shoes, Victoria wears her team spirit proudly.

She enjoys doing craft projects from Pinterest, baking an assortment of cupcakes, eating Japanese food, and burning off those calories in her Zumba class. She also enjoys painting. In high school, Victoria was selected among a small group of students to paint a mural at Texas Children’s Hospital in the chemo room.

Victoria has traveled to Mexico, South Africa and Uganda for mission trips. She has been blessed with the opportunity to share her artistic gift by painting preschool rooms in and orphanage in Jinja,Uganda and church signs in Galeana, Mexico. Victoria has had the privilege to work with a missionary in South Africa and has helped with feedings in local communities.

In addition to being a Dental Assistant, Victoria is the Marketing Coordinator. She enjoys using her love for crafting at work by making treats to share with partnering dental offices.

Victoria can be described by one word-glitter! From her nails to her braces, there is always a sparkle on Victoria. She is excited to welcome your bright smile to ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry.


Chanel Krishnan, Hygiene Coordinator

Chanel is a California dream girl. She has moved around the US her whole life from California to New York to Lousiana to Houston but is happy to have settled here in Houston with her family.

Chanel graduated from Huntington High School in Shrevport, LA in 2004. Shortly there after she became a certified massage therapist. After much contemplation, Chanel decided to pursue her career in the field of dentistry. In 2011 she became a part of the ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry team and is currently the Hygiene Coordinator of our front staff and hopes to become a dental hygienist in the near future.

Chanel’s love for the Indian culture lead her straight into the arms of her now husband, an Indian native. They both welcomed a sweet baby girl in 2012. In her spare time, Chanel enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and painting.


Giselle Colunga, Receptionist

Giselle is the newest member at ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry and she is so excited to have started working with us as our receptionist. She graduated from Glenda Dawson High School in 2013 and is currently attending the University of Houston where she will major in nutrition and then apply to dental school to become a General Dentist.

Giselle describes herself as an outdoors girl. She loves to go camping, hiking, and running. She also enjoys to play volleyball,and go dancing in her spare time. Giselle considers herself an adrenaline junkie who loves roller coasters and wants to go skydiving.

She also considers herself a food connoisseur. She loves to try different types of cultural foods but her favorites are Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. This past summer Giselle went to Spain, Portugal, and France with her church and hopes to travel the rest of the world someday. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, boyfriend, and adorable twin nieces, Sabrina and Sophia.
