Ivette M. Diaz, D.D.S.

Dr. Ivette Diaz is a special kind of dentist. With her unique charm, she gets children excited about their dental care, helping them to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

While earning her doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Dr. Diaz learned that she had a special connection with her young patients. A fluent speaker of Spanish, she then took a rare opportunity to earn a Post-doctoral Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. After finishing her advanced studies, she returned to Texas, becoming certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Her continuing advanced studies in pediatric dentistry, especially in the areas of child behavior management and sedation dentistry, enable Dr. Diaz to provide comprehensive children’s dental care. But most importantly, she takes the time to get to know each child personally, communicating with parents and children to create a lifetime of great smiles.

As of January 2018, Dr. Diaz is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

Dr. Diaz and her husband, Dr. Manuel Diaz, an oral maxillofacial surgeon, reside in Pearland with their two sons, Manuel and Gabriel.

Vanessa Paredes, Office Manager

Vanessa has been with ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry since 2007 and is a native Houstonian. She has been in the dental field since 2002 and brings a great deal of knowledge to our office that help our patients feel at ease. “Teamwork makes the dream work” is her motto. Striving to give great customer service, her organization and attention to detail allow her to help our parents with any questions they may have. Vanessa’s outgoing and charismatic personality bring joy to those around her. If you need assistance in Spanish, you can look to Vanessa as she is fluently bilingual.

When she’s not at work, Vanessa loves to spend time with her husband and son, Amos, who plays Select Baseball. Proud of her Cuban heritage, Vanessa also loves to dance salsa! On her spare time, you can find her cooking, traveling and playing dominoes.

Chanel Krishnan, Treatment Coordinator

Chanel is a California dream girl. She has moved around the US her whole life from California to New York to Lousiana to Houston but is happy to have settled here in Houston with her family.

Chanel graduated from Huntington High School in Shrevport, LA in 2004. Shortly thereafter she became a certified massage therapist. After much contemplation, Chanel decided to pursue her career in the field of dentistry. In 2011 she became a part of the ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry team and is currently on of our treatment coordinators.

Chanel’s love for the Indian culture lead her straight into the arms of her now husband, an Indian native. They both welcomed a sweet baby girl in 2012. They enjoy spending time with their sweet daughter. In her spare time, Chanel enjoys reading and painting.

Molly Ramirez, Receptionist

Molly can be found smiling as soon as you walk into our office! First being a patient of Dr. Diaz herself, she was inspired to go into the dental field. After graduating from Manvel high school in 2017, Molly enrolled into the dental assistant program at The College Of Health Care Professions. Once completing the program she joined our family at ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry. Being able to return to the place that made her decision to go into the dental field felt like she was home. Prior to joining our family, she was a lifeguard/swim coach for 3 years. During that time it helped her realize she loved working with kids.

When Molly is not at work, she dusts her cowgirl boots out and spends time with her family and friends. With her Texas kind of way of life she brings light and happiness as soon as you walk into our doors!

Jasmine Mayon, Receptionist

Jasmine Mayon was born and raised in the Houston Area. She attended Manvel High School and graduated in 2012 and furthered her education at Houston Community College and Prairie View A&M University. Jasmine loves children and spent over 4 years working with children at local Montessori Schools and a daycare as an instructional teacher. She has been known to create a special connection with children and it fills her heart with joy. Jasmine continued her career at Memorial Herman in the surgical technician field. She loved what she did but realized she really missed the children. She was ecstatic when she learned of the Receptionist position, and she leaped at the chance to be part of the amazing ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry team. Jasmine joined the team as the receptionist in May 2021 and knows that she has found her perfect match. She loves organizing, being a great team member and most of all seeing the smiling faces of kids every day.

When not working Jasmine enjoys helping others, spending time with her family, friends and especially her nieces and Goddaughter. She also enjoys working with her mom on craft projects and party planning. Jasmine is a country Jeep girl at heart and loves playing with her full-size Jeep toy. She is excited to be part of the ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry team and cannot wait to serve you and your family!

Jasmin Bonilla, Insurance Specialist

Jasmin was born and raised in Houston Texas. In 2019 she joined our team at ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry working as a receptionist and Registered Dental Assistant. She attended Raul Yzaguirre School for Success and graduated in 2013. Shortly after Jasmin decided to join the military serving four years at beach master unit 2 in Virginia Beach where she got to be part of different military operations. In 2015 she was deployed with the USS Oakhill where she was able to travel around the world to Spain, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Dubai, Panama, Portugal, and Honduras.

The opportunity arose for her to be part of the disaster relief in Haiti after Hurricane Matthew where she flew in a helicopter for the very first time. After getting out of the military in 2017 she decided to pursue her dream to be in the dental field and joined the dental assistant program at the College of Healthcare Professions where Jasmin graduated as valedictorian!

Jasmin loves to spend time running and enjoying nature with her best friend, who she married in October 2018. They both enjoy finding new places to eat because the absolutely love food. When not in our office you can find her at Resurrected Church in Pasadena teaching Sunday school.

Alibell Colon, R.D.A.

Alibell was born in the Dominican Republic and relocated to Madison, Wisconsin at the age of seventeen. While in Madison, she furthered her education and learned to speak English. Alibell is a modern-day nomad and has had the opportunity to have lived in different cities such as Los Angeles, New York and Chicago. In 2007, Alibell decided to pursue the Dental Assistant Program while living in Illinois.

Upon relocating to Houston, Alibell gained more experience and in 2015 she joined ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry. Alibell’s expertise in the dental field allows patients to feel at ease and informed about the services that are rendered. Her skills and dedication help her provide the best care possible to our patients.

When she’s not at work, Alibell is enjoying time with her wonderful husband, Luis and their twin daughters, Alexa and Alissa. Alibell also enjoys exploring new and exotic restaurants, traveling, exercising and Crossfit.

Victoria Oliver, R.D.A

Victoria is delighted to be apart of the team at ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry where her career in the dental field began. Victoria graduated from Manvel High School in 2011. In 2012 she attained a license as a dental assistant from Alvin Community College.

Victoria was born and raised in Texas and resides in Alvin. She is a Houston Texans fan. From her Texan earrings to the bedazzled Texan shoes, Victoria wears her team spirit proudly.

She enjoys doing craft projects from Pinterest, baking an assortment of cupcakes, eating Japanese food, and burning off those calories in her Zumba class. She also enjoys painting. In high school, Victoria was selected among a small group of students to paint a mural at Texas Children’s Hospital in the chemo room.

Victoria has traveled to Mexico, South Africa and Uganda for mission trips. She has been blessed with the opportunity to share her artistic gift by painting preschool rooms in an orphanage in Jinja, Uganda and church signs in Galeana, Mexico. Victoria has had the privilege to work with a missionary in South Africa and has helped with feedings in local communities.

In addition to being a Dental Assistant, Victoria is the Marketing Coordinator. She enjoys using her love for crafting at work by making treats to share with partnering dental offices.

Victoria can be described by one word-glitter! There is always a sparkle on Victoria. She is excited to welcome your bright smile to ABC 123 Pediatric Dentistry.

Leslie Stowe, R.D.A.

Leslie is a compassionate Texan girl whose attention to detail makes the patient’s feel at ease.

In 2010, Leslie graduated from Manvel High School. Following her high school graduation, she decided to enroll full-time in the dental assisting program at Alvin Community College. Upon receiving her license, she was delighted to join our family at ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry. Her dedication to sharing her time and energy resonates to all of the patients that come into our office.

When Leslie is not at work, she enjoys scrapbooking, crafts, and party planning. She also loves to spend time with her son, Emanuel, and her dog.

Kimberly Roberts, Dental Hygienist

I was born and raised in Indiana. I decided to move to the Houston area in 2015. I attended the dental hygiene program at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Illinois where I received my associate’s in Applied Science then decided to get a Bachelor of Science degree in health sciences at the University of Southern Indiana.

I have been practicing dental hygiene since 2010. I worked in both general and pediatrics. I also had the pleasure of working at the Indiana University Purdue University of Indiana where I was the Pediatric Community outreach coordinator where I was able to participate in health fairs and visit schools to educate the public about dental health.

When not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy decorating and planning events. I look forward to meeting you and your family at ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry.

Isabelle Hornung, R.D.A.

Isabelle was born and raised in the Houston area and recently joined the ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry team in June of 2021 as a dental assistant. She graduated from Episcopal High School in 2017 and went on to further her education at the University of Notre Dame. There, she studied neuroscience, latino studies, and studio arts. When she wasn’t in the library studying or hanging out with friends, Isabelle loved attending Notre Dame sports games, especially football games. Go Irish!

During college, Isabelle loved to volunteer and work with children. Her cheerful energy allows her to make friends fast. She had the opportunity to volunteer with children in San Antonio, teaching English as a Second Language classes for the summer of 2018. Isabelle’s dream to enter the dental field began during her college experience. At ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry, the rest of the team continues to motivate her to treat others with compassion and improve her skills as a dental assistant. Isabelle is currently applying to dental school and aspires to become a wonderful dentist like Dr. Diaz one day!

In her free time, Isabelle loves to spend time with her family and dogs. Her two brothers are her best friends, and she can often be found watching movies and playing games with them. Isabelle also loves art and spends a lot of her free time painting and drawing. Ceramics has also recently become a big passion of hers. Isabelle is so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful team at ABC123 Pediatric Dentistry!
